| Btw Oppie... The way you view the end of times is a very important thing.... You see... it is harder for premills (I not saying postmil people are better) to evangelize because by doing so they are delaying Christs return... where as Postmils are hurrying it... If you dont understand what I just said just say so. Your friend General Lee | |

| Ok... If the world has to get bad b4 Christs return... Then you will not be as driven to witness... for everone whom you save delays the coming of Christ....
But if the world must be conquered for Christ before he returns... Then you will be more driven to witness for then everone whom you save ineffect, hurries his return. If you dont understand what I just said just say so. Your friend General Lee

| Thats just.... Where does it say that in the bible?? I've never seen anywhere where it says " and Jesus will come back after the Church sets up the Kingdom" Also, WE don't save anyone. GOD does. We are not here to "Save" people. We are here to witness and leave the rest of it to God. | |

| Oh I understand where your coming from, but Civ is right. (as usual )You need to reasess what your trying to explain here Lee. What we do has no effect on Christ's return. The date is already set, though nobody knows they day, or the hour. Nothing WE do will change anything God has set into motion. Think about this concept will you? | |

The Bible often does not say things that clear... But here are some verses... "Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end." Isaiah 9:7 "All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, And all the families of the nations shall worship before You." Psalm 22:27 "Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You. For Your judgments have been manifested." Revelation 15:4 "Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:9-11 "Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a Kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, And His Kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed." Daniel 7:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Habbukuk 2:14 And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. 2 Samuel 7:12-15 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Psalm 2:1-8 And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matt. 28:18-20 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust. The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him. Psalm 72:8-11 - Civility_C wrote:

| Lee those verses with the exception of the ones about saul, which are pointing to him and not inctiting something of the future, are referring to after the tribulation. I've been focusing on understanding the meaning of key verses in the bible for a long time, specially those of the end times. These do not support your claim however, Civ is right. | |

Dear Oppie, You cant just say "those dont support your claim and then give very few, if any reasons, why you believe so. He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor. They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations. He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth. In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust. The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him. Psalm 72:4-11 This is obviously talking about before the new Heavens and Earth are made... Your Friend General Lee

| UM.. Lee, those most of those are out of context or don't have anything to do with this.
Isiah 9:6-7 "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be unpon his shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There shall be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His Kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgement and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this."
Psalm 22: 27-28 "All the end of the world Shall remember and turn to the Lord, And all the families of the nations Shall worship before You. For the kingdom is the Lord's, and He rules over the nations."
Psalm 2:1-12 "Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulerss take counsle together agaisnt the Lord and against His Annointed saying, "Let us break Their bonds in peices and cast away Their cords from us." He who sit in the heaven shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then he shall speak to them in His wrath and distress them in His deep displeasure: "Yet I have set My King On my holy hill of Zion." I will declare the decree: "The Lord has said to ME, You are My Son, today I have begotten you. Ask of me and I will give you the nothions for your inheritance and the ends of the earth for Your possesion. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to peices like a potters vessel." Now therefor be wise O kings, be instructed you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who trust in Him. You see Lee, all these verses point to Jesus setting up his kingdom. Notice all the "I's, He, God"? It says nothing about the church setting up the kingdom. Sorry I didn't take the time to do all of them. I would, but I can't right now.
