I'm trying to give you the bennifit of the doubt, Oppie, by assuming that you didn't come up with those stats on your own. (duh) I don't need to know the name of the author if you stated his "facts" correctly, they're totally off and anyone can see that. Do you really think that only 5000 prisoners were released from Andersonville when the war ended? Facts show that these numbers you're producing are bogus.

Oppie, I guess I didn't state it clearly enough before, but the above paragraph is from one of the first sites that pop up when you google andersonville prison. My point is that if you really cared about finding the facts through "a trusted (non-biased) source" all you had to do is google the thing in question and find out for yourself. Stop being lazy and making me find these things, and then saying that they're false! It's getting really annoying...

Well Oppie he has a point. Sualisbury Prison in NC had 9000 prisoners leave at the end of the war. It was a lot smaller than Andersonville and worse in most respects...

You want to know what's harsh? It's harsh when a guy starts spouting off these rediculous stats as though they're true, without applying common sense, and then tells everyone that he will have the name of the book and the author by a certain day the next week, and then never comes through. THAT'S harsh man.
