More confederates died in northern prisons that yankees in southern prisons, including Andersonville Prison, which you spoke of. And yet, there were less confederates in prisons TO die, so what do you have to say for yourself?

You really don't get this. Let's say I have fifty gold fish, and you have 30. Through our neglect/poor care, 20 of my fish die, and 25 of yours die. Who here is the worse pet owner? (beep, I'm resorting to fish... )

In this scenario, you represent the north's prisons, while I represent the south's. Only a few more of your fish die than mine, so are we about the same when it comes to owning pets? No, because you had less fish in the first place to die. Do you get it?????

I was talking about andersonville,and those figures I gave you before, I just discovered, were incorrect, the northern prisoners died a lot more then I thought.

Yeah, I had the exact figure a while ago, but I lost it. Lol, I know that it was close to 40,000 soldiers though, (that died in Andersonville)

Yes Stuart I know all about Andersonville, camp sumter whatever, and I previously had the same figures that you did, until I read otherwise.

Andersonville is one of those sad tragities of the Civil War. The guards never meant to starve the prisoners, there just wasn't enough food. The guards lived just as badly as the prisoners except for the fact that they got only a little bit of more food. When Whiz got in command, he cut rations (I believe that is what he did) and the prisoners were starving to death. It was no one's fault. But, the government needed someone to hang.

thats true, and I bet anny one of you would have done the same thin, you would feed your commrads first then the prisoners, or am I wrong?

That is the mostly likely exclamation, however it's hard to tell just from mere history books why he was hanged.
