I actually do know how French Fries got their name, and I know where they originated from, and I know when, where, and by whom the first potatoes were found and harvested, and I know why potatoes created quite a stir in the Catholic church, why they were considered to bring on Leprosy, thought of as poisonous, and I know which English monarch was insulted by an ill-cooked plate of this vegatable.
