ALL RIGHT I GET IT YOU THINK IT'S STUPID ALREADY. But do you have any reasons for holding such an opinion, or not? Have you even read the books? Because if you haven't you can't judge the series fairly; the movies suck royally. The first four books were brilliant, the last two have been so-so, and I'm hoping she can put it all together for the last one.

I know alot of people don't like the "magic" part of it. But in my mind, that's why it's called 'fantasy'. If we couldn't just accept some 'magic' for the fun that it is, everyone would hate Disneyland, too.

I now enough to back my oppinion, they SUCK.

um..... there is no way to prove that a book "sucks" unless it is false in its arguments, or has lousy grammar and spelling and is incoherent. The Harry Potter books don't fall under any of these, Oppie, so I don't see how you could say they just plain "suck". Maybe magic just isn't your thing. You muggle.

I won't speak for witches and sorcerors in general but I think in this case Harry Potter is more of a harmless children's fantasy, than a cult series.

Harmless? How can witches be harmless? Dont the characters use enchantments and spells? Though it seem harmless isnt its worldview that witches are good and acceptable?

You look at how the world is there are good and bad people all over the world. And there has been since forever. So, you started the thing about Christians, so here is my view, if you read the bible you will have noticed that there have been people using powers that are either good or bad. Christ for example used power from heaven to heal people, cast out devils. Then you have those who used secret societies and secret works so they could overpower people for their own gain. Christ and his apostals used powers from heaven to further the kingdom of God and help other people. There fore, good and bad have always been. So, Lee.. ha By the way, I think Harry Potter is not meant to favor cult beliefs. nananana
