Battle of Fredricksburg

Maybe someone wishes to talk about this battle.

simply put, another Union blunder. It wouldn't be the last.

WHy you whipping Grant? He wasn't the one in charge of Fredricksburg.

Becasue hes the only Union guy on here?

I thought about that after I posted last.

Because, later union blunders would be committed largely by Grant DUH lol. And I wasn't only whipping him, I was shooting and stabbing too lol.

LEE OWNS GRANT!!!

What do you mean by getting one for me? And, Grant beat Lee so he owns Lee in a sense. On the battlefield, Lee was better. Strategy wise, Grant was best.

Garbage!!! Baloney I say!!! LOL. Well, actually Lee had stated for sometime that once Grant reached the James, it would turn into a siege, and from there it would only be a matter of time. There was nothing Lee could do to prevent that. But how long did it take Grant to see that same fact? Like, forever? And he's better at strategy? my @$$. Lol. The only tactical manuever he knew was to move to the right for cryin' out loud.

Grant only won by sheer numbers that seems quite obvious or am I missing something?

Larger numbers and a will that was equal to Lee's. Both weren't willing to back down, but, when push came to shove, Grant shoved harder.

So you are saying that if I with three other guys attack you.... and you kill two of them better I and the remaining kill you.... We are obviously still better than you cause we won. Do I see a logical flaw? lol

and yes, Lee, it is obvious how grant won, at least to reasonable people lol.

Actually, not to many people look at the strategy this way.
1. Grant moves to the right. If Lee stays in place, he has to attack Lee.
2. Grant moves to the right. If Lee moves North, he has the defenses at Washington, Sheridan's Army and Grant's all can converge and destroy him.
3. Grant moves to the right. Lee moves south, getting closer to Richmond. Saves his army, but, will have to fight harder each fight. Once he gets to Petersburg, not only do they have to defend that city, but, they have to stretch to protect Richmond and all vital railroad junctions.

ya, ya, pretend there was a method to the madness lol.
