| Homeschoolers, rise up!!! lol Ya, I'm homeschooled, and I've been laughing just seeing everybody jump on coby for what he said. I've always been homeschooled, but it really works out now because my band does loads of gigs, and yes, I'll admit it, I miss alot of school days because of that. But I mostly make it up in my free time (evil mom). Lol jk | |

| I disliked homeschool. Mainly because it was just me, my mom and two babies all day long. | |

| Hmm, I am struggling to keep my mouth shut about some of things being said, but I'll just say this. Yes, there are several people out there that are ver protective of their children, and from personal experience, I know their parents have a VERY good reason. Yes, I know, I'm only 15, but this is a topic that I have discussed many times with others. My parents have great reasons for not letting me and my younger siblings (8 younger siblings) do certain things. I really enjoy homechooling, and I wouldn't have it any other way...one reason why: I tend to get along better with adults and people older then I am, then a guy/girl my own age. In public schools, and any other school other then home there are more "stick to your peers" sort of thing. Please do not take this the wrong way, I'm just giving one of my reasons for not wanting to go to school. I am going to a "homeschool-school" every Thursday. I take a Sign Language class, and last year, took a Composition class. My brother also takes classes there as well. Pardon the long reply!

| well, I didn't think you were that hard to get along with, Trin. (lol don't take that the wrong way!) I think what you meant to say was that you get along with mature people easier than immature people (that explains why you don't like IBG). just kidding about IBG! | |

| Coby, I understand what you are saying and I agree there are some parents who just don't want their kids in any public setting. It seems as though people here on this site have parents who want to let their kids do stuff. IBG is just jealous because he wasn't a baby too. He was really just mostly upset because he knew he was home because he was too sick to get to go to school. And he knew that he would have another dr. appt. that day. It really was the pits for him. How ever he had a real young just out of college teacher who adored hiom | |

| lol, Aye, people like Coby make me sick...but, his apology has been accepted, and there's no need to dwell on it any futher! Like you said, Oppie , you have earned your parents trust to be "let loose" a little bit more. I have as well, but there's nothing for me to brag about as I look back on how I earned that trust. | |

Im sure it was good for you. Its just that homeschoolers are less likely to be deluded by the myth of "Wonderful Unionism." lol jk (I actually know quite afew homeschooled yankees.) (all the better for me to debate with) lol

(Here we go...) Of course they(namely North and South) weren't the best they coulda been.... but one of them HAS to have been better and that is where the debates start!!!! You can hardly be neutral. In ALL wars neither side is the "best it can be" but there is always a side that is better and more righteous.
(in this case... namely the South. lol)

| coby, is IBG paying you to back up his pro-union garbage? 'cause he should.... Join the right side, coby...you know that the south was the one being attacked for no reason.... Ok, you might say that the south was wrongfully trying to leave the union and lincoln had no choice but to stop them. Think of it this way, you walk into a room, and get into an arguement with another guy. The other guy starts to get really mad, and you decide that instead of fighting with him, you're just going to walk away. But as you turn around, the other guy jumps on your back and starts hitting you! Who is in the right here? It doesn't matter if you were wrong or right in the original arguement; he was the one who wouldn't let you go without a fight. Who would you stick up for? | |

| I would stick up for the guy that was being attacked, and I don't agree with everything the north did, I guess the south did have a right to leave and the north shouldn't have attacked the south for that but their is not much we can do about it now is their. | |

| I would have support the South except for the S word. Beyond that, very cool guys, good generals, good units. Although the Iron Brigade was better. Oh, and, they served at the Wilderness and Petersburg for your info Stuart. | |
