Nope its not I had a friend that was homeschooled for a while. you already know where I go to shool IBG.

I know Civ. But, you know, you have to have fun with these forums or else this will die out. My mom homeschools my little sisters and when I had cancer i had to homeschool for two years.

you don't meet as many people when you're homeshooled though, so thats one downside of being homeschooled.

WHAT?!?!?!!!? I do not think so, Coby! I have met so many different people, and may I remind you that I am homeschooled. The one thing that I HATE hearing people say is "Homeschoolers are so 'socially deprived". No, my dear boy, homeschoolers meet so many people it isn't even funny. Going into a store, or some area where lots of people gather, the ones who are the most welcoming, are almost always bound to be homeschoolers. Haven't you ever read that homeschoolers have the highest standing for getting into colleges?

When I was homeschooled and had to go down to Utah for kemotherapy, I meet lots of people. Get your facts straight.

Yeah a lot of people think that you aren't allowed to go do anything when you are homeschooled. But that isn't the case. IBG's sister is in dance and his brother is just 6 but they he plays with friends. They go to town and meet new people, they go on field trips every month and get together with other homeschooled kids.

It isn't easy homeschooling but it is well worth it. I won't trade the days I got to spend with IBG when he wasn't able to go to school and yeah the chemo stunk but I loved being with him, the same with his sibs that are homeschooled.

Besides I don't have to worry about some phyco coming into school. I wish I could have finished IBG's schooling and his other sister's at home too.

thats true, but some parents do n't let their kids do anny thing they just keep them at their homes and they never get to meet any one, I'm not saying that every one does that but some do.

That's just a few nutcases. If you would read the posts Civ and J2S do, you will learn that they are reenactors. Unless no one else is at the reenactments.

I know that I read their posts, I feel sorry for those few kids whos parents don't let them meet different people.
