Yeah I m a little shocked by the news about my home town mayor died today less than one hour ago.
She was actually very skilled as a politician, the kind of person you either love or hate, but her career goes back to 1985, and the first woman to get the job in this town.
Just when our town is about to celebrate it s 400th anniversary.
As for my mom, its a complete panick in her office, and lots of people in Montreal dont even know what just happened yet.
That mayor had a keen sense of tradition, and also was a peoples person.
My parents are supposed to go to the funerals and that story is all over the place.
