But with style. Very Happy Custer is one of the most interesting military figures in 19th century America, and one of the few Union cavalry officers who fought against Stuart and came out of it with his reputation intact.

True. He was able to hold off Stuart, but, Trevalian Station was hilarious. He got surrounded, and only his CUster's Luck saved him.

Not to mention he ended up his career by getting completely humiliated, he picked a fight on Natives led by Sitting Bull, Crazy Horse and Red Cloud, only to get ambushed by overwhelming opposition, and he (possibly) was the first US Commanding Officer to get massacred by Natives in Little Big Horn.


That's just the only thing I can remember of this one.

Colonel Fetterman was first. He got 80 men caught in a little pass, then shot himself to escape torture.
