Thise morning I heard there had been a major earthquake North West of Tokyo, and in this area was the Nuclear Plant of Nigata which is known for being one of the most powerful nuclear plants in the entire world and into what could have take Japan into a catastrophe situation that could have been only compared to Chernobyl back in Ukraine in 1986.

I think you most likely had seen or hear about this, only 5 fatality so far have been reported, yet the earthquake could be felt south of Tokyo while all of North Japan probably from Osaka (Center South Japan, to Hokaido North of Honshu), from center Japan to complete north Japan.

Well here's a list of Japan's major cities that I think felt it.

Tokyo
Yokohama
Kobe
Yokosuka
Osaka
Sapporo
Sendai

Each one of these cities is even bigger than New York City itself, and there are a lot more people, we don't even mention how many villages and smaller towns were hit on this one.

Btw, I seem to recall the 1920s Earthquake in Japan, it was huge as well and caused lots of damage.
