| So I'm the only pro-democrat around here...But the Republicans got a trashing, and now I'm getting news that Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper is getting not only his policies questionned but should face a vote of non-confidence in a very near future, courtesy of the Block Quebecois. These Elections results might decide if the Canadian Soldiers are pulling out from Afghanistan or are there to stay. We've got about 5000 troops near Kandahar and we're doing just all the work in that place with outdated hardware. Yet the hardware might be outdated, but that doesn't mean the soldiers themselves are slackers on the job. Right now because the Democrats won, I'm happy but that was the icing on the cake, the cake will be there when the Conservatives get booted out of office. | |

| I know that the terms "conservative" and "liberal" are all relative, but how can you be so anti-Republican when it comes to the US Andro? | |

| Many reasons Stuart. #1: George W Bush #2: the Invasion of Iraq #3: the Lumberwood Tarifs almost knocking down TWO Canadians Provinces major industry #4: Dick Cheney #5: Republicans always veto sanctions against Israel when it's clear they weren't that innocent in the Middle East conflict #6: The Patriot Act #7: the Cheeseburger Bill #8: Canadian Troops in Afghanistan #9: the NRA #10: Many Familly relatives harrassed by the American Agents on Canadian Soil #11: The Kyoto agreement #12: Canadian Conservative Party #13: Canada's current Prime Minister #14: The way the Republicans treated France for saying NO to President Bush (I'm partly French remember?) #15: The FTAA #16: The Maher Arar Scandal #17: Donald Rumsfeld #18: I don't believe in War Mongering #19: the Abu Ghraib Scandal #20: Secret Prisons hidden in mostly Eastern Europe where Torture is used Need I say more? | |

| I don't know the first thing about the American Constitution, and when it comes to Canada's constitution, Quebec has never reckonized it. And to say the least all of this is against my own beliefs, you got your own and I won't go against it, except if your beliefs go against my own of course. | |
