In Honor of Veteran's day tomorrow I would like to suggest a moment of silence tomorrow at 9 a.m. no matter what your time zone. Time to just thank our Veterans. From all eras of history.

Thank you for posting this topic. There is an honorary moment of silence at 11 am, in rememberance of the signing of the armistice on Nov. 11, 1918, ending WWI.

You notice something? We were so involved into this Civil War stuff that we forgot that they were veterens to. We forget about stuff like that. And, most people don't consider the fact that most of our veterens are coming home from Iragi, still young. We always think of veterns as old folk.

That would have been a cousin in Vietnam, but you did have 2 great uncles in WWII as well as your grandpa. And a great uncle in the Korean War.

Oh, this might interest you IBG one of your great grandpa's in WWII had to radio that Musalienee ( don't know how to spell it) was dead and he had a soldier holding a gun to his head in case he said one wrong word. Because if he did they would blow his head off. Like a Star @ heaven
